So OUT of it
I just read a fashion satire website which mentions "spinning class" and I automatically pictured a spinning wheel and wool. And THEN I realized they meant exercise on bicycles. It's been a while since I exercised or dressed fashionably. Maybe too long a while.

You'll be happy to know the Starbucks ban is over as I went in last week and they now carry my Maple Oat Nut scones. YAY!

Happy Thanksgiving!

My Christmas Wish List
For those of you who are related to me and wondering what I want for Christmas, here are some ideas. This list is to help if you are stumped, not to override any ideas you may have had on your own... I'm writing them down so I don't forget when I get the phone call from my mother saying my brother is desperate for hints.

    I would like:

  • A handsome pepper grinder with fresh peppercorns. Perhaps a coordinating salt grinder or shaker as well.
  • A thimble from Roxanne or Thimblelady.
  • Lavender corduroy pants. (John knows what size) Yes, for real!
  • Yarn, quilting fabric, or gift certificates thereof. (Wool Gathering in Kennett Square, Patch of Country in Chadds Ford, or store of your choosing...)
  • Of course, I do want books, and you can find that list at Amazon by typing in my email address.
  • Movie passes.
  • Starbucks card.
  • Handmade items of any sort are most welcome!

See, I'm not that difficult to shop for after all.
