Craft Room Cleanout on eBay
I think I have a post twice a year about cleaning out my sewing room. It's a process, what can I say? I'm selling some Japanese craft/quilt books and other stuff on eBay this week. Hoping to save a little cash towards a new sewing machine? We'll see. This weekend John put up a full-sized design wall and pegboard for me. I'm putting it to immediate use designing a challenge quilt for the guild. I was given a brown bag with light pastels (yellow and light purple)-- I instantly thought of Kaffe's Herringbone quilt from the Glorious Patchwork book, and now I'm having fun turning the uglies into something I quite like. I think I might even hand quilt it! Wheee!

I finished the brick bracket quilt-- right down to the binding. It's kind of short for the sofa, but I love using it. Onward and upward!

Comments:
It looks really dimensional in the photo. Awesome! And I don't think that brick bracket quilt is the wrong size at all. It's small enough to be manageable, without worring about stepping on the trailing ends.

Yes, cool photo! What kind of machine are you interested in saving for?
